Auditing Access to Specialty Care for Children with Public Insurance

The authors find great disparities in access to health care services between children with private medical insurance and children on Medicaid and/or CHIP. The study looks at various specialty clinics and found that specialty providers are less likely to see and treat children with Medicaid that children on private insurance.
