Developing Multilingual Prescription Instructions for Patients with Limited English Proficiency

This article published in the Journal of Health Care for the Poor and the Underserved describes the development of a set of patient-centered prescription medication instructions and their translation into Chinese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Challenges and lessons learned from this process are reported to inform future efforts to develop easy-to-understand, multilingual materials for use in health care settings.
