Improving Clinical Care Through Evidence: AHRQ’s Effective Health Care Program, Webinar by MOHEC and AHRQ

The Missouri Health Equity Collaborative (MOHEC) and the Federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) co-hosted a free Webinar to discuss research-based tools to enhance clinical care and quality from noon – 12:45 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. The Webinar, titled Improving Clinical Care Through Evidence: AHRQ’s Effective Health Care Program, was led by Shannon Canfield from the Missouri Health Equity Collaborative and Pam Montagno of the AHRQ Chicago Regional Partnership Development Office.

AHRQ, part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, conducts comparative effectiveness research (CER) to highlight the effectiveness, benefits, and risks of different treatment options for common conditions. This Webinar reviewed the role of CER in improving patient outcomes and introduce free evidence-based clinician and patient resources created by AHRQ’s Effective Health Care Program.
